Lake Balinsasayao, Negros Oriental

i would like to share a very beautiful treasure in negros oriental- lake balinsasayao. it is not far from cebu. we drove there- from cebu city to santander about 3 hours and a 45 min crossing to negros then about 1 hour 1/2 to balinsasayao. it is a great place to have a kayak adventure with family. there are kayak rentals available so there is no need to bring much, just some food.

when we went there, we had the entire lake to our family of 10 people. the water is clean and serene. no tourists. great place for relaxed paddling and swimming. when dusk came, a group of british campers came. they made a camp there for exploring the neighboring peaks.
