Cooking Rice Cakes on an Improvised Steamer, Legazpi, Philippines

powdered rice
grated coconut cooked with brown sugar,
beside it is the coconut shell mold/holder with hole in middle

stuff coconut shell with powdered rice,
then add the grated coconut,
add another layer of powedered rice


ready to be steamed

the improvised steamer:
tin can over a kerosene stove

now steaming

just a few seconds and its ready

like kid's play
