Improvised Charcoal Stove, Magallanes, Sorsogon, Philippines

Checked out the Magallanes: Sorsogon Town Market,
Lots of travelling vendors...

Past their stalls
are the permanent vegetable shops...

Saw a really cool improvised charcoal cook stove...

The designer,
a coconut, cacao and rice miller,
recycled a discarded electric stove top,
attached a simple tube,
put a small electric exhaust fan,
and used coconut shell charcoal...

The result,
a smart and efficient charcoal cook stove....
Necessity is indeed,
the mother of invention...
Congratulations to the designer.
