One of my treasured shots
while walking the hutongs of Beijing,
pedaling swiftly pass me,
was a human powered vehicle
for sewage cleaning-
either for -
septic tanks for the ancient hutong homes,
or
for the restaurant grease traps for the ever greasy stir-fried chinese food.
