Baked Organic Tomatoes from KPAF:Katunggan Permaculture Adventure Farm, Carcar, Cebu

Our first tomato harvest
for this year,
oven baked
and ready
to be mixed
with pesto and olive oil.

A perfect dish
for a light snack or dinner.
Simple to prepare:
cut in half and
remove all the seeds
low heat, oven baked for three hours
add the chopped basil,
pine nuts
and pour a generous amount of olive oil
to soak it.
Then refrigerate,
will be consumed faster than you think.
Muy delicioso...

  1. The tomatoes look great what other food did they have there as I am interested in collating "where to buy" in Cebu as not only is it a pain in the butt for me trying to find all these locations due to poor marketing and advertisment by themselves but many others who love organic food.

  4. all you need to do is plant your own tomatoes there.Philippines has a nutrient dense soil, almost everything grows in that place, the only thing is lack of education, that planting your own food better is than any food in the market including the organic ones.Planting your own food minimizes carbon foot print plus you indulged yourself in nature and thats the start of the awareness..
