Ka Lui is a seafood restaurant right in the heart of Puerto Princesa. Lots of people go there coz its a cool place to hang out. I love it not only for the delicious seafood and the cool ambiance, but most of all for the beautiful application of bamboo. As we all know, bamboo is considered as one of the most sustainable form of wood. Bamboo can grow up to 24 inches per day. And we are blessed in the Philippines because we have many species varieties. Thus, the saying- grow your own house... , coz one can literally do so. At Ka Lui, one can feel the bamboo ... it is almost breathing... singing... A great inspiration for building a dream house.
