With the availability of cheap Chinese Christmas decorations at chinese stores with names that are numbers like 668 or 886 or 68.... the tradition of making locally made christmas decors is fast vanishing. There are only a few places where people continue to make these intricate Filipino christmas lanterns- made of capiz shells.
